Shanghai

Words and pictures can not adequately describe how crowded the city of Shanghai is. The city of 20 million makes American cities like Chicago, Los Angles and New York City, seem like overgrown suburbs. Our new guide, Daisy, told us the following true story, which puts the massive size of Shanghai into perspective. During college she worked a part time job very common amongst college students in Shanghai. Her job was to go to certain subway stations during rush hour and help to push stray limbs into the subway car so that the doors could close and the subway could run. You you can imagine how crowded Shanghai subways are.
