Zermatt, Switzerland

We stayed in the town of Montreaux, right on Lake Geneva but we spent most of our time in Zermatt, only a few hours away by train.

We had dinner in Montreaux every night but really only saw the town on the last day we were in Switzerland.

Paris, New Year's Eve

We arrived in Paris very late on December 30th.  We spent the 31st wandering the streets, touring the catacombs, and drinking champagne on the Champs Elysees.

Paris, January 1st

The snow kept a lot of things closed (not much snow) so we wandered around during the day, saw a movie, and went to the Moulin Rouge that evening.

Versailles

Our last day was spent just outside of Paris at the chateaux of Versailles.  It was amazing and incredibly large.  Our feet still haven't forgiven us.
